Kiron Expands in Italy with Microgame Virtuals Supply Deal

Virtual sports content provider Kiron Interactive has strengthened its foothold in the lucrative Italian market with a recent partnership with gambling service provider Microgame.
Hailing from Italy and with years of experience in the local gaming space, Microgame is one of the leading providers of software and services for the Italian marketplace, which ranks among the largest in Europe.
Kiron already boasts solid presence in Italy with its virtuals content, but the recent distribution deal with Microgame will see the provider further enhance its footprint in that important market, particularly at a time when sports are paused due to the global coronavirus pandemic and interest in virtual sports has been growing tremendously.
As part of its recently signed agreement with Microgame, Kiron will launch a selection of its virtual sports products on its new partner’s platform. Content that will soon be integrated with Microgame includes Kiron’s leading virtual horse racing, dog racing, and football games products.
The move will enable Italian players to place wagers across all operators that are part of the Microgame network. The deal between the two companies will also see Kiron facilitate the launch of Highlight Games’ innovative Soccerbet product across Microgame’s client network.
Another Major Italian Partner
Kiron has been providing its virtuals products to some of Italy’s leading gambling operators, but the recent deal with Microgame will see the provider further expand its footprint in the Italian market by rolling out its products with a plethora of new operators.
Kiron has so far teamed up wit Italy’s Sisal, Lottomatica, and Eurobet groups that are among the leading providers of B2C services in the local iGaming space.
As mentioned earlier, Microgame is one of the leading providers of betting services, both across the retail and digital sectors, in Italy. The company boasts a large and ever-growing network of gambling operators there and offers a range of sports betting and casino products.
Commenting on their partnership with Microgame, Kiron Co-CEO Steven Spartinos said that they are delighted to form that partnership with one of Italy’s leading platform suppliers and that the move extends the distribution of their virtuals portfolio and raises their profile with new iGaming operators.
Mr. Spartinos went on to say that their latest deal “underlines the vast popularity” of their virtuals offering with local betting customers and builds on their rapidly growing Italian presence as their operations in the country “continue to go from strength to strength.”
Microgame CEO Marco Castaldo added that Kiron’s portfolio of virtual sports content will “make a valuable addition” to their platform and that they expect their clients to see excellent results in terms of player engagement and increased betting values across different channels.
