Playson Announced Romanian Partnership with Baumbet

Online casino games developer and provider Playson is set to further expand its presence in the Romanian iGamiing market through a deal with local operator Baumbet.

Under the terms of the recently signed agreement, Playson will supply its entire slots portfolio to the Romanian online casino.

Playson entered Romania’s regulated online gambling market last year after it obtained a Class II license from the National Gambling Office, ONJN, known to be the Eastern European country’s gambling regulator.

Since it received its permit to provide its content to locally licensed operators, Playson has signed several content supply deals to deliver its games to online casinos servicing Romanian players.

In August 2019, Playson partnered up Romanian iGaming operation Platinum Casino to deliver its entire games library. News about that deal emerged shortly after the supplier obtained its Class II license in the country.

Baumbet is already a significant player in the local gambling space. The company has been running retail betting operations for more than two decades and is now looking to cement itself as a leader in the provision of online casino-style gaming services.

Including Romania, Playson provides its content to more than 17 regulated markets. The slots developer boasts a portfolio of 65 omni-channel titles that are licensed by the ONJN, the UK Gambling Commission, and the Malta Gaming Authority and certified by a number of regulators.

Baumbet to Gain Access to Promotional Tools, As Well

As part of the partnership between Playson and Baumbet, the operator will gain access to the supplier’s entire collection of slot games, including hit titles Solar Queen, Rome: Caesar’s Glory, Viking Fortune: Hold and Win, as well as the highly popular Funky Fruits and Timeless Fruit Slots series.

In addition, Baumbet will also benefit from Playson’s set of promotional tools, including the provider’s Seamless Play feature, Free Spins, Jackpots, and regular slots tournaments with daily Prize Drops. All these have proven engagement capabilities.

Commenting on their partnership with Baumbet, Playson Senior Account Manager Christos Zoulianitis said that they are thrilled to go live with Baumbet and to offer the operator’s players their highly popular suite of games.

The Playson official went on to say that Baumbet “already has a well-established heritage in Romanian gaming” and that they look forward to working alongside them “as they develop their online casino.”
