New Publishing Arm Offers Key to Yggdrasil’s Kingdom

Supplier of online casino games and software solutions for the iGaming industry Yggdrasil today announced the launch of its new Publishing division as part of a new strategic approach the company is set to implement to secure its growth in the new decade.

In a press release that hit the web earlier today, Yggdrasil said that its new arm aims to offer its customers “the key to its kingdom.” Yggdrasil Publishing will provide all the tools and solutions its clients will need to build and manage a complete B2B gaming business.

Through its new division, the company will franchise its entire business from its full content library, including future releases, and gamification tools to its platform technology and new Game Adaption Tools & Interface (GATI) product.

Yggdrasil Publishing will enable partners to create their own custom, end-to-end iGaming service that will be supported by the newly created division of the major online gambling provider.

Yggdrasil said previously that it expected its Publishing arm to become the key growth driver for the company and to rapidly expand its reach across global online gambling markets. The provider will showcase new products and will provide more information about the newest addition to its business at the upcoming ICE London gaming show. The event will take place between February 4-6 and Yggdrasil will welcome anyone willing to learn more about its business at stand N3-140.

Three Core Value Propositions

Future Yggdrasil Publishing clients will be able to license any or all elements of Yggdrasil’s online casino gaming eco-system. The company’s content as well as supporting technology and functions have a proven track record as they have been live in some of the largest regulated iGaming markets.

Yggdrasil Publishing will provide three core value propositions, with those being YG Franchise for platform IP licensing, YG Masters for game development and distribution, and YG Game IP for game IP licensing.

Yggdrasil’s new arm will be headed by experienced industry executive Björn Krantz. Mr. Krantz’s appointment was first announced in November 2019. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Yggdrasil’s fellow online casino content supplier NetEnt.

Mr. Krantz will be attending ICE London to introduce Yggdrasil’s newest division and meet both existing and potential new customers.

Of the launch of Yggdrasil’s new Publishing business, Mr. Krantz said that it would provide operators, studios, and suppliers with “all the tools, tech and knowledge to take control of their content production and distribution and create unique player experiences.”

The executive went on that Yggdrasil Publishing is “a ground-breaking global licensing business that significantly changes our and the industry’s approach to content creation, publishing and distribution” and comes as part of Yggdrasil’s strategy to take its offering to “another level altogether.”
