Parx to Offer Evolution’s Live Casino Content in Pennsylvania, New Jersey

Live Casino supplier Evolution Gaming has, in another major move in its US expansion campaign, partnered Parx Casino to jointly launch Live Dealer Casino services in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Owned and managed by Greenwood Racing Inc., Parx Casino is one of Pennsylvania’s biggest land-based casinos. With the legalization of online gambling in Pennsylvania and the continued growth of online gambling in neighboring New Jersey, the casino is now looking to capitalize on the increasing popularity of live casino as one of the fastest growing segments of the global iGaming industry.

Under the terms of the recently penned deal between Evolution and Parx Casino, online customers of the gambling venue will gain access to the provider’s rich Live Casino content portfolio that includes classic casino favorites such as Roulette, Blackjack, and poker variants as well as exclusive titles and innovative game formats.

The games will be streamed from Evolution’s existing Live Casino studio in New Jersey and planned studio in Pennsylvania.

Parx Casino is located just north of Philadelphia’s city center. It features a 150,000-square-foot gaming floor with more than 130 live table games.

Commenting on the addition of Evolution’s Live Casino products to their existing online offering, Parx Casino Senior Vice President of iGaming & Sports Matthew Cullen said that their casino was the first one in the Keystone State to offer RNG Blackjack games online, “so extending our online offering […] is a natural next step.”

Pennsylvania Expansion

Mr. Cullen went on that their online Blackjack player base will be particularly attracted to Evolution’s Live Blackjack offering, which includes Infinite Blackjack, a game that has no limit on the number of seats available. The Parx Casino official further pointed out that they are confident that Evolution’s Live Casino content will appeal to other player types, as well, as they roll out their Parx Live Casino across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Evolution Chief Commercial Officer Sebastian Johannisson added that they are delighted to be working with Parx and that with “table games subject to lower tax, our Live Casino is a very attractive proposition” for both operators, as well as players, as it offers “a very important and significant contribution to operator revenues.”

Parx Casino was the second major content supply deal Evolution has signed in Pennsylvania. Last year, the company teamed up with Penn National Gaming to roll out its Live Casino offering across the casino operator’s digital channel.

Evolution’s expansion in the Keystone State became possible after the provider obtained a license from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board last year. The license enabled Evolution to deliver its Live Casino portfolio to locally licensed operators via a Pennsylvania-based Live Casino studio.

The facility is set to open doors later this year and to feature 10 tables. Evolution will initially offer American (Double Zero) Roulette, Infinite Blackjack and Blackjack with side bets, Ultimate Texas Hol’dem Poker, Baccarat, and Auto Roulette, among others, from its Pennsylvania studio. More games will be added at a later stage.
