[ad_1]

After 12 years of absence from the live poker tables in the United States, PokerStars is returning with its North American Poker Tour (NAPT) in November. The poker operator will reportedly hold the first event in Resorts World Las Vegas from November 4 to November 12, 2023, just one week before the Formula 1 circus will arrive to the entertainment capital of the world, Newswire reports.

Tornament to Take Place from November 4-12,2023

The famous Las Vegas resort will host the NAPT and welcome players from around the world to enjoy some  thrilling live poker action. The tournament will reportedly start on November 4  with $1,650 buy-ins to proceed with the Main Event from November 6-11 featuring six initial games. The $5,300 buy-in High Roller event will be held from November 10-12. At the same time, the $550 buy-in PokerStars Cup will run from November 9–12 to offer a superior live poker experience, according to the source.

Returning to US After 12 Years

The same source reports that Las Vegas will offer tons of fun in November. The visitors can then attend the famous NAPT event coming back to life in the States for the first time since 2011, when the so-called Black Friday indictment suspended the operations of PokerStars from the US market on money laundering grounds. In 2017, PokerStars’ owners negotiated a deal with the Department of Justice to forfeit $540 million to US authorities and pay the outstanding debts to be fit to get back on the scene after the pandemic.

Fine Timed Event

It seems that the time is now for PokerStars, as well as for Formula 1 Grand Prix that will reportedly take place in the city just a week later to also feature PokerStars’ partner Oracle Red Bull Racing. The city is expected to be rattling and humming over those couple of weeks and one must admit that the operator have chosen an exceptionally busy season to bring the tournament to Las Vegas.

Steve Preiss, VP for PokerStars North America reportedly commented: “We are delighted to announce the return of this iconic series and once again hold the NAPT for poker players in North America. We’re working hard to ensure that this is a spectacular series and can’t wait to head to Las Vegas to get the show on the road.”

Leon Wheeler, Director of Poker Operations at Resorts World Las Vegas, reportedly said: “We are thrilled to partner with PokerStars as we celebrate the return of the North American Poker Tour with the first stop at Resorts World Las Vegas. NAPT Las Vegas is sure to bring players in from all over the globe and we look forward to hosting them once again at our world-class property.”
