A pop-up exhibit described as “the ultimate hub” for U2 fans will open at The Venetian a day before the famed Irish rock band opens the MSG Sphere, the $2.3 billion concert venue located behind the casino resort.

“Zoo Station: A U2:UV Experience,” opening Thursday, September 28, will cram 12,000 square feet of interactive exhibit space, spanning two floors, with artifacts from the band’s history.

Zoo Station will serve as a centralized hub/destination for people to celebrate, congregate, shop, view exclusive U2 content, and immerse themselves in the band’s history,” according to a press release.

The exhibition will include a gallery of U2 photographer Anton Corbijn’s best work with the band, a bar called Fly, and Zoo TV Cinema, an intimate theater curated by U2 guitarist The Edge, including daily screenings of rare band footage.

Immersive Experience

The exhibit will also recreate Zoologischer Garten, the train station near Hansa Studios in Berlin where U2 recorded most of its 1991 album, “Achtung Baby.” The recreation will include the entrance to the station, which inspired the album’s opening track, “Zoo Station,” and a life-size subway car.

Unlike the band’s residency, which runs most weekends from September 29 through December 6, Zoo Station will be free to enter. The only exception is the theater, for which tickets must be purchased in advance at https://u2.vibee.com/.

The exhibit will be adjacent to the LOVE sculpture in The Venetian’s Waterfall Atrium and open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
