Latino revival for Fifth Street Gaming

In the western American state of Nevada and casino operator Fifth Street Gaming is to reportedly begin renovating its 14-year-old Lucky Club Casino and Hotel property from tomorrow morning.
According to a Friday report from the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper, the firm announced earlier this year that it would be refurbishing the North Las Vegas venue in partnership with the Ojos Locos Sports Cantina chain of sports bars in hopes of being able to more easily appeal to the region’s ‘Latino community’. The operator purportedly more recently detailed that the revived enterprise is now expected to open by the end of January under the new Ojos Locos Sports Cantina y Casino at Hotel Jefe branding.

Las Vegas-headquartered Fifth Street Gaming reportedly explained that the existing casino and restaurant inside the Lucky Club Casino and Hotel property are to be closed throughout the renovation although the venue’s adjacent 118-room hotel will remain open. The company purportedly moreover disclosed that this will allow it to bring a new 10,000 sq ft gaming floor to the Clark County enterprise featuring a range of the latest slot and table games entertainment.

For her part and the Marketing Vice-President for Dallas-headquartered Ojos Locos Sports Cantina, Laura Caudillo, reportedly pronounced in April that her organization already runs 18 sports bars and restaurants across the states of New Mexico, Arizona and Texas that are filled with high-definition televisions broadcasting a host of Spanish-language programming.
