The Asian Poker Tour now has a new owner

[ad_1]

The Asian Poker Tour (APT) has a new owner. The newly created APT Events Private Limited has acquired the poker tour brand from Asianlogic Group Company, Asian Poker Tour Limited. The PT is a live poker brand based in Asia, offering poker players live quality gaming options since it began back in 2008.

Executives to Remain with the Company

Despite the changing of hands, key executives will remain in leadership positions within the APT or be associated with the poker brand in some capacity. Chief Executive Officer Jeff Mann will no longer maintain his role but will be a primary consultant as the transition is made.

Mann stated that the company has been looking to pass the brand to a dedicated and focused poker organization that will be able to push the APT to the next level. He feels that this is what APT Events Private Limited will be able to do and he is ‘pumped’ to see where the brand will go next.

General Manager & Executive Tournament Director for APT, Lloyd Fontillas, will maintain his role, with even more responsibility within the company. The team under Fontillas will also have more responsibility as the tour looks to expand.

APT Events Private Limited partner, Michael Soyza, commented that both Mann and Fontillas have done a great job in building the APT to what it is today and all the stakeholders of APT Events Private Limited have taken part in the APT in the past. They are more than excited to be working with the team and hope to reach new heights with the tour.

More on the APT

The Asian Poker Tour started in 2008 and its first tournament was held in Manila. The tour has grown to offer even more annual events across Asia each year. So far, the APT has offered over 100 events in the Asia-Pacific region, with stops hosted in the Philippines, South Korea, Vietnam, India, Hong Kong, and Cambodia.

The tour has also ventured out into other areas including the United Kingdom, Australia, New Caledonia, and other regions. The next event for the tour is set for June 7-19 at the Grand Loyal Poker Club. The club is located at the Grand Vista Hotel in Vietnam. The tour stop is the APT Vietnam Hanoi Loyal 2022.

Players attending the tour stop can take part in various events including a Mystery Bounty, Main Event satellites and the Main Event, Head Hunter tournament, Super High Roller, and other options.
