Ronaldo scores as Manchester United beats Brighton 2 to 0

On Tuesday, February 15^th, 2022 the living – legend of a striker in Cristiano Ronaldo stopped the bleeding on his 6 – game goal drought by blasting in a sweet net – finder during the 51^st – minute of the match to propel Manchester United to a much – needed 2 to 0 victory over Brighton. This win for Manchester United pushed their football club into 4^th – place in the English Premier League standings.

Bruno Fernandes popped in a 2^nd – goal score during the 7^th – minute of stoppage time, on basically the last kick of the ball during this exciting match – up between Brighton and Manchester United. That final goal of the contest came following a speedy break as Brighton had decided to commit the majority of their players forward in an attempt to tie the game late in stoppage time.

Manchester United had previously been unsuccessful in winning any of their past 3 – matches even though they had taken the lead each time and twice in the English Premier League versus both Burnley as well as Southampton. Man U also had found themselves being eliminated from the FA Cup by the underdog in the 2^nd – tier club of Middlesbrough.

Helping the cause for Manchester United in this game versus Brighton at the historic Old Trafford stadium was the visiting defender of Brighton in Lewis Dunk. He got sent off just 3 – minutes following Ronaldo’s goal due to professional foul as he brought down Anthony Elanga as the winger was through on goal.
