Stormx teams up with PokerGO to host invite-only poker tournament

Top-rated Crypto Cashback provider StormX has announced it will hold a special poker tournament this March in Las Vegas. Working with PokerGO, the brand plans to host its first invite-only affair, with crypto founders, NBA stars, and professional poker players hitting the felt with $500,000 in total prize money up for grabs.
Details of the Event
The tournament is scheduled for March 3 and will take place within the PokerGO Studio. The studio is located in Las Vegas at the ARIA Resort & Casino. Titled the StormX Invitational Poker Tournament, the event is derived from a new partnership formed between the crypto company and PokerGO. The goal is to bring together those who enjoy poker and cryptocurrency.
The two popular brands plan on hosting several poker events together and this will be the first of many to come. The buy-in to the Las Vegas event is $5,000 and so far, 81 players are taking part. Rebuys are also allowed. The best of the best in poker will be there including Tom Dwan, Maria Ho, Nick Shulman, and Matt Berkey.
The star-studded event also includes other celebrities such as NBA player Michael Carter-Williams and NASCAR Driver Landon Cassill. Victoria’s Secret model and investor Amber Arbucci will compete along with the creator of Litecoin Charlie Lee.
CEO and Co-Founder of StormX, Simon Yu, commented on the upcoming event by stating: “We’re excited to host the first of many events that bring together a wide range of entrepreneurs, investors, poker pros, and celebrities to create an enjoyable event that will be streamed globally.”

The crypto company will also provide sponsorship opportunities to the live poker event and plans to donate some of the proceeds to Miami charities. One goal of the company is to spread awareness of financial and crypto in the local area.
