Online casino games designer, creator, and supplier Habanero announced Thursday that it has taken a major leap in its Argentinian and LatAm expansion effort as it has secured permission to provide its content in the City of Buenos Aires.
The company said that its products have recently been accredited by Loteria de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, the agency overseeing the provision of online gambling services and products in the autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
This recent accreditation means that Habanero will be able to deliver its market-leading titles with locally licensed operators.
The studio said that this recent milestone is hugely important as the Argentinian market “holds endless potential” for the launch of its highly innovative multi-product portfolio. Habanero already enjoys great popularity across Argentina thanks to partnerships with land-based casinos around the nation.
Thanks to its registration in Buenos Aires, the company will be able to launch its recent hits Return to the Feature, Candy Tower, and Marvelous Furlongs, among others, to online casino players in the city.
After a long and often troubled process, the city finally regulated online gambling and LOTBA is now issuing licenses to companies interested to provide their services there.
Recent Registration Vital for Growth in Argentina
Commenting on their latest important announcement, Habanero Business Development Executive Vera Motto said that receiving their LOTBA registration is vital for the next stage of their growth in Argentina and that they are delighted to now be able to offer their titles in the City of Buenos Aires.
The official went on to say that they are looking forward to securing partners in one of the most exciting emerging regions in iGaming and make their mark in the city.
Habanero’s Buenos Aires registration follows a host of expansion moves in Latin America unveiled by the studio in recent months. In April, the company teamed up with Spanish iGaming content aggregator Emara Play to strengthen significantly its foothold in Spain and across Latin America.
Early in 2020, Habanero celebrated its debut in Colombia’s regulated online gambling space through a partnership with Spanish gaming and sports betting giant Codere, which also boasts a strong presence in the Colombian market.
The studio strengthened its presence in that particular market in the summer of that year through a partnership with RushBet.co, the Colombia-facing online gambling business of US iGaming and digital sports betting operator Rush Street Interactive.
Focused on crafting engaging and entertaining content for online, mobile, and land-based casinos, Habanero boasts a portfolio of 150 online slots as well as a wide range of table and video poker games, original marketing tools, and a unique trademarked jackpot system.
