Gaming Realms Agrees Slingo Online Casino Games Deal with Pragmatic Play

[ad_1]

Developer and licensor of mobile-focused online casino content Gaming Realms has signed a licensing agreement with game developer and supplier Pragmatic Play to produce Pragmatic Play-themed Slingo games.

The agreement enables Gaming Realms to license brands from Pragmatic Play’s ever-growing portfolio, including Sweet Bonanza and Wolf Gold, and craft Slingo games.

Gaming Realms acquired the Slingo business and intellectual property in 2015. The acquisition has enabled the company to establish itself as “a highly regarded developer and licensor of games in the international gaming market.”

In 2019, Gaming Realms sold its real-money gaming business to Oslo-listed company River iGaming for a total consideration of £11.5 million in a bid to focus its full attention on the development of new games and international licensing of its Slingo brand. The company used proceeds from the sale of its real-money gaming operations to boost its development and licensing units.

Slingo was first introduced in 1995, comprising a blend of slot and bingo games into a single recognizable brand. Gaming Realms’ Slingo Originals arm crafts and licenses original gaming content that is designed around the Slingo brand.

Through its wholly owned subsidiary Alchemybet Limited, Gaming Realms is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Pragmatic Play’s Content Fits Perfectly with Slingo

Commenting on their partnership with Pragmatic Play, Gaming Realms Executive Chairman Michael Buckley said that this agreement “opens up a range of cross-sell benefits for both parties” and that this newly formed licensing alliance will have a key focus on content innovation in the digital iGaming space.

Mr. Buckley praised Pragmatic Play for creating “engaging and immersive content” and noted that it fits perfectly with the Slingo brand.

Pragmatic Play Chief Business Development Officer Yossi Barzely said that “creating memorable gaming experience is a priority” for them and that “Gaming Realms has an excellent reputation through its Slingo portfolio.

The official further noted that they have “an extremely positive feeling about the potential for Pragmatic Play-themed Slingo games” and that they are eager to see this collaboration realize its full potential.

Earlier this week, Pragmatic Play announced an exciting partnership with an online gambling operator that would see the provider grow its regulated presence, while strengthening its partner’s portfolio. The company teamed up with Kaizen Gaming, the fast-growing iGaming company that manages the Betano and Stoiximan online casino and betting brands.

Under the terms of this agreement, Pragmatic Play has provided the above two brands with access to its slots and Live Casino portfolio via direct integration.
