Bang Bang Games Launches First Online Slots as Yggdrasil YG Masters Partner

Online casino games maker and publisher Yggdrasil on Monday announced the launch of the first YG Masters online slot of young iGaming studio Bang Bang Games.

Ancient Eclipse, as the game is titled, deploys Yggdrasil’s GATI technology as part of its participation in the YG Masters program.

Launched in 2020 by a team of online gambling industry veterans, Bang Bang Games strives to develop online slots with highly engaging but easy-to-understand mechanics. The studio joined Yggdrasil’s YG Masters program in June 2020.

The program, launched a couple of years ago, has been going from strength to strength, constantly adding new studios to its ranks. It enables indie iGaming content makers to design, develop, and distribute their products utilizing Yggdrasil’s technology and its ever-growing network of global operator partners.

The above-mentioned GATI technology is a key component of YG Masters. In few simple words, GATI is a preconfigured and regulation-ready game development toolkit that gives studios the opportunity to benefit from standardized technology to design, create, and deliver their games anywhere in the world.

It also helps casino game makers accelerate the reach of their content and find new ways to grow revenues using a single standardized interface.

The New Game

Ancient Eclipse, Bang Bang Games’ debut YG Masters title, is a 5×4 slot that transports players into a mysterious adventure where they can harness the power of the Eclipse and try to capture attractive prizes from ancient times.

Players need to land both symbols of the Eclipse to unlock big wins. The Moon symbols that hop onto the reels transform into special Golden Sun Frames that stick on the reels until an Eclipse gets triggered.

The Eclipse is triggered when a Moon symbol lands in a Golden Sun Frame. When the feature gets activated, all Sun Frames on the reels turn into Wilds. The Eclipse can be retriggered and each new Eclipse comes with an increasing multiplier of 1x.

The game also features a Sticky Suns Free Spins mode that is activated when three Warrior scatters appear on the reels. During Free Spins, all Sun Frames remain sticky throughout the entire mode, even after an Eclipse is triggered. Every Moon symbol that comes into view adds a new Sun Frame and awards an extra spin.
