Fan Duel Group went live in Michigan when online sports betting began in the state. The operator is launching fully integrated, real money online gaming experience for Michiganians in collaboration with MotorCity Casino.
Both the FanDuel Sportsbook & Casino app and the standalone FanDuel Casino app are available for iOS and Android users.
In addition, the customers in Michigan can now use fantasy sports, sportsbook and casino winnings interchangeably between products.
Aside from Michigan, FanDuel offers mobile sports betting in nine more states, including New Jersey, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Tennessee and Virginia. It is also the third state where FanDuel offers mobile casino games. The other two are New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
MotorCity Casino in Detroit announces the deal with FanDuel in March 2020. The collaboration with FanDuel Sportsbook will offer customers a full online sports betting experience.
FanDuel Sportsbook App Offerings
The FanDuel Sportsbook app will offer a special risk-free first bet up to $1,000 for any new Michigan customer. The operator promises to refund the amount of a customer’s first wager up to $1,000 within 72 hours.
Exclusively for Michigan customers, FanDuel will offer casino games on two mobile apps – the standalone FanDuel casino app, and within the “casino lobby” of the FanDuel Sportsbook app.
New players can place their first wager risk-free up to $200 that will be refunded within 24 hours of placing their first bet.
The standalone FanDuel casino app in collaboration with MotorCity Casino is available both on iOS and Android operating system or via the operators’s website. New customers can now create their accounts for FanDuel Sportsbook or for daily fantasy experience and can come back at any time and play.
The FanDuel Casino app now offers an expanded library featuring slots, blackjack games, roulette games, video poker games and baccarat games.
The long and painstaking process for legalizing online gaming and sports betting in Michigan ended last week. As many other states, Michigan saw a chance to compensate for financial losses due to the coronavirus pandemic, by allowing online wagering opportunity.
FanDuel is one of the 10 other operators allowed to launch online sports betting in the state. The other ones include DraftKings, William Hill, Barstool, TwinSpires and others.
Following the official legalization date, BetMGM announced launching new casino in Michigan. The online casino will deliver a wide range of legal online casino games. Some of them include best-in-class online blackjack and roulette games. BetMGM Casino will also provide players with various digital games, such as video poker, as well as other casino and slot games.
