Over his career, Kwon has been able to earn a living by playing poker. He has generated over $3.8 million just in online earnings. He won his first WSOP gold bracelet in 2019 and continues to compete in major events this year to earn enough points to claim the yearly title.

What’s to Come?

With the WSOP Player of the Year win, Kwon earned a cash prize of $10,000 and an exclusive WSOP.com Player of the Year ring. After earning this accolade, what is next for the poker pro? After speaking to PokerNews, Kwon said that he has goals to continue with volume and grinding.

Something new to do this year would be to stream poker. Kwon does have a setup to start streaming, so that could be happening very soon. This would allow fans as well as fellow players to watch the pro in action.

It will not be surprising to see Kwon this year via WSOP events as the brand recently announced the 2021 WSOP Online Circuit events schedule. The WSOP has had to adapt due to COVID-19 and one way poker can still be offered to a large number of players is online.

For 2021, the brand will offer monthly online circuit events. Players can win prize money along with rings and bracelets in these online poker events. WSOP is also offering ways to qualify for these events online.
