PointsBet Takes Evolution Live Casino Titles to Boost US Growth

[ad_1]

PointsBet has teamed up with Live Casino specialist Evolution Gaming to roll out its products as the Australian bookmaker grows its footprint across regulated US markets.

PointsBet entered the US gambling space in the summer of 2018 when it obtained a license to operate as an online sportsbook operator in New Jersey. The company took its first bet in the Garden State in early 2019.

The betting operator has since then expanded in Indiana and Iowa, as well, and is now offering both digital and retail wagering experience to sports fans across the above three states. PointsBet has also signed a multitude of other agreements to expand its operations across more states, subject to the passage of enabling laws and regulations.

As part of its partnership with Evolution, PointsBet will be able to roll out the Swedish content provider’s Live Casino portfolio across states where the provision of this type of products is legal. The Australian bookmaker has become the latest major operator to have partnered with Evolution for distribution of its content in the US where demand for Live Casino has been growing fast in recent years, just like it has been growing in the rest of the world.

Thrilled with Recent Partnership

Commenting on their partnership with Evolution, PointsBet Chief Innovation Officer Seth Young said that they are thrilled with this alliance as it will enable the sports betting operator to launch its partner’s Live Casino portfolio in US jurisdictions where PointsBet plans to go live with its proprietary online casino platform.

Mr. Young went on to say that the addition of Evolution content will extend the appeal of PointsBet’s product in the fast growing US market.

Evolution’s Chief Commercial Officer, Sebastian Johannisson, said that PointsBet will gain access to a rich mix of world-leading online Live Casino games”, including classic table game offering, online poker variants that “are big favorites with US players”, and Evolution’s new generation of game show titles.

PointsBet will also be offered the opportunity to provide its players with branded dedicated tables and Live Casino environments, should the sports betting operator require these.

Evolution built its first US Live Casino studio in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The modern facility was launched in August 2018. A second studio is currently under development in Pennsylvania and is slated to go live by the end of this year. Evolution obtained a license to provide its Live Casino products in the Keystone State last September.

A third studio is currently being built in Michigan. That third facility is scheduled to go live at some point in 2021.
