[ad_1]

NagaCorp Ltd has announced a deal was negotiated with the government of Cambodia to allow the firm to reopen some gaming services on July 8 at NagaWorld. The gaming complex will begin offering VIP table games and slots on this day as the nation begins reopening amidst the coronavirus crisis.

Approved to Reopen:

On Friday, the prime minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, announced that casino operators would be allowed to reopen if they were able to meet health requirements set to prevent outbreaks of the coronavirus within their properties. According to NagaCorp in a Sunday filing with the Hong Kong bourse, the country’s Ministry of Health gave the company a memorandum of understanding which provided approval to reopen the two gaming sectors.

A technical inspection was conducted on July 4 ahead of the set reopening date. According to the firm, after the inspection, a certificate of clearance was provided.

The Relaunch:

When NagaWorld is back in business this week, the employees of the property and any visitors must undergo screening. Body-temperature checks will take place before anyone is allowed to enter. A face mask must also be worn.

For players, a mask is required when playing. There will also be a limit to the number of players allowed at a VIP table. The company will only sit three people per table. This will reduce the capacity of players at the gaming tables by 43%. Standing play will also be banned at this time.

For slot machines, the capacity is now at 50%. Every other slot position has been switched off to promote social distancing. On top of that, NagaWorld stated they were required to create five isolation rooms. These rooms are preventative measures in case any health issues arise among guests.
