Spearhead Studios Celebrates Colombian Market Entry

Online casino games maker Spearhead Studios, part of the EveryMatrix group, today announced that it has entered the Colombian iGaming market after obtaining the necessary certification.

The online gaming studio was launched in November 2019 to mark EveryMatrix’s first foray into the game development segment.

Since its launch, Spearhead Studios’ content has been rolled out in a number of regulated markets, with Colombia being the latest one.

The company’s entire portfolio of gaming titles is now available to Colombian online casino enthusiasts following the successful completion of the required certification process. Players from Colombia can now access Spearhead Studios’ best performing titles Wilds of Wall Street, Lara Jones Is Cleopatra, and Popstar.

EveryMatrix’s iGaming content maker is the latest to enter Colombia’s market as the country is gradually becoming one of the hottest regulated destinations and as the entire LatAm region has been drawing more and more industry attention.

Aside from Colombia, Spearhead Studios’ gaming titles are also certified from gambling regulators in Malta, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. The company plans to enter a number of other regulated jurisdictions this year.

Spearhead Studios’ successful entry into the Colombian market marks the latest important milestone for the game development studio since its launch last fall.

An Important Achievement

Commenting on their Colombian debut, Spearhead Studios Managing Director Mathias Larsson said that getting their games live in the local market “is an important achievement for our team” and that they have been “investing a lot of time, resources, and creative zest into our games.”

Mr. Larsson, an experienced gambling executive, also noted that they are “dedicated to growing our number of jurisdictions and finding the best distribution channels for them” and that he is very proud of what Spearhead Studios has accomplished “in only seven months of existence, and I think we have a very exciting road ahead.”

Spearhead Studios’ games portfolio currently offers 13 gaming titles, including the bespoke online slot Book of Gates, crafted exclusively for German iGaming operator Wunderino.

Earlier this year, the iGaming studio also rolled out the innovative Slider Games feature, which aims to help sports betting operators increase engagement and grow their revenue by up to 20% without “any lengthy and time-consuming development.”

Spearhead Studios has unveiled a busy roadmap for 2020 that will see the casino games maker release five more gaming titles by the end of July, including Dark Joker, Black Jack, Giant Panda, Super 7 Deluxe, and Royal Crown.

Based in Marbella, Spain, Spearhead Studios develops HTML5 online slots, table games, and other real-money games. As mentioned above, the company is part of specialist gambling provider EveryMatrix.
