Playtech, GVC Debut Majority Rules Speed Blackjack Live Casino Title

Major online gambling provider Playtech on Friday premiered the newest addition to its Live Casino range, Majority Rules Speed Blackjack.
The company said its newest Live Casino titles is yet another scalable game that is crafted around community play.
Majority Rules Speed Blackjack introduces a new level of player interaction, thus adding an unusual twist of the classic blackjack gameplay. Playtech’s new product comes with two different modes – Majority Rules and Best Strategy. The number of players involved in each round dictates the mode.
In Majority Rules mode, all players vote on whether they want to Hit, Stand, Double, or Split. A 50% or greater vote triggers the preferred action automatically.
In games where fewer players are involved, the Best Strategy mode is activated. In this mode, player hands are automatically resolved according to a pre-defined Blackjack best strategy flow.
In both modes of Playtech’s new Live Casino game players need to determine in advance whether to accept a vote or the best strategy decision on Split and Double actions as these require additional funds.
Playtech developed Majority Rules Speed Blackjack jointly with GVC Holdings. The game is set to become available networkwide this coming July.
Innovation and Experience-Led Gameplay at the Core of Product Strategy
Commenting on their latest release, Playtech Live Casino CEO Edo Haitin said that “innovation and experience-led gameplay” stand at the core of the company’s product strategy and Majority Rules Speed Blackjack “delivers on both counts.”
Mr. Haitin went on to say that the success of Playtech’s community Live Slots concept has demonstrated “player demand for interactive & fun games” and that they are confident the combination of classic Blackjack gameplay with the new “collaborative, community play will be a major hit with players.”
Of their collaboration with Playtech on Majority Rules Speed Blackjack, GVC Head of Live Casino Matt Charlesworth said that they are excited to deliver “this first of its type game” to their players across GVC’s online gaming brands.
Mr. Charlesworth added that the new Live Casino title “captures real community feel” with its Ask the Audience voting approach to in-game decision-making and that it is a fully scalable product that offers something very different to players “without deviating from classic European Blackjack with popular sidebets.”
Last fall, Playtech and GVC teamed up to launch together the Elevation Live Casino space. The dedicated Live Casino studio was marketed as a “true visual spectacle” that enhances experience with various Live Casino products by Playtech and with a vast video wall that creates a backdrop of fully immersive skyline.
