[ad_1]

Leading Central and Eastern Europe gaming and sports betting operator Fortuna has successfully completed the migration of its Sportsbook product in Poland onto Playtech’s IMS platform.

This follows the completion of similar migration of Fortuna’s Slovakia- and Czech Republic-facing omni-channel sports betting offering onto Playtech’s platform. Further integrations are set to follow in Romania and Croatia.

Today’s announcement marks the latest expansion of the partnership between the major gambling operator and the online gambling technology giant.

As part of the recently completed migration, Fortuna will be able to utilize a number of useful tools that are part of Playtech’s IMS platform offering to bolster its Polish operation.

Poland has thus become the latest Central and Eastern European market where Fortuna can manage its bettors from a single platform, delivering a 360 degree view of customers across all migrated countries. In addition, the operator will be able to utilize Playtech’s player engagement center and responsible gambling tools to further enhance the experience it delivers.

Fortuna and Playtech first partnered up in August 2016. Since then, the gambling operator has become one of the leading sports betting and online casino-style gaming service providers in Central and Eastern Europe. Highlights of the ever-expanding partnership between the two companies include the joint launch of the first online casino in the Czech Republic since the reorganization of the local market more than three years ago.

More Integrations to Follow

Aside from Poland, Fortuna has also already migrated its Sportsbook onto Playtech’s IMS platform in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Further integrations will be carried out in the coming few months in Romania and Croatia.

Commenting on the successful migration in Poland, Fortuna Entertainment Group CEO Per Widerstrom said that their strategic partnership with Playtech continues to be “integral to our growth plans” and to the successes his company has reaped so far.

The executive went on to say that the recently completed integration will provide their Polish bettors with a leading user experience and “more broadly confirms our omni-channel leadership in Central and Eastern Europe.”

Playtech Chief Operating Officer Shimon Akad commented that the Poland sportsbook migration represents the latest step in “what continues to be an impressive growth trajectory for Fortuna” and that they are confident there is a lot more to come for the gambling operator.

Mr. Akad also pointed out that aside from highlighting the strength of Playtech ONE as a solution for licenses, “this is also a prime example of how Playtech can be the technology provider of choice for companies as they expand and build their offerings in new markets.”
