Evolution Rolls Out Super-Fast Speed Blackjack Game

[ad_1]

Swedish supplier of Live Casino solutions for the iGaming industry Evolution Gaming has enhanced its roster of blackjack titles with a new, faster variant.

The company rolled out today its Speed Blackjack game, a “super-fast” variant of its existing Live Blackjack offering.

Generally speaking, Speed Blackjack follows the same rules as Evolution’s Live Blackjack but with one significant difference – the dealing order when a player is set to make their decision. In the new, faster, version, each player’s first two cards are dealt as they would be if they were playing the original Live Blackjack variant.

Then when the first two cards are dealt, all players at the table are simultaneously offered the opportunity to Hit, Double Down, or Split. The player who first notifies their decision will be dealt their next card first.

This dealing pattern is set to continue until all players have made all the necessary decisions and all required additional cards have been dealt to those playing the game.

Speed Blackjack is the latest title to join Evolution’s ever-growing library of Live Casino games. Last summer, the company added First Person Lighting Roulette and First Person Dream Catcher to its online RNG range of games. Both games have a unique Go Live button that when pressed, transports players from the First Person game to its live version.

Why should players have to wait?

Commenting on the latest addition to their library of titles, Evolution Chief Product Officer Todd Haushalter said that Speed Blackjack is about 30-40% faster than their standard Live Blackjack game. The gaming official went on that the new game offers players more control, which results in “much less waiting time.”

On what prompted them to introduce this new blackjack variant, Mr. Haushalter commented that for more than a century players had to make decisions from the dealer’s left to right and every player at the table has had to wait for their deciding fellow player to make their decisions, but at Evolution they asked themselves ‘Why should players have to wait?’

“With Speed Blackjack, players make their decision when they are ready and whoever is fastest gets the next hit card, giving the player more control”, Mr. Haushalter explained. He also noted that this has no impact whatsoever on the game’s mathematics, it just reduces waiting time.

Aside from enhancing its portfolio, Evolution has also been busy expanding its footprint in new markets.

Last fall, the company obtained a license from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board that authorized it to establish a Live Casino studio in the Keystone State and provide its products to locally licensed operators.

In November, Evolution announced that it has partnered with casino operator Penn National Gaming. Under the terms of the agreement between the two companies, Penn National will be able to use Evolution’s new Pennsylvania Live Casino studio to stream the provider’s live table games to its customers across the state.
