Pragmatic Play expands footprint in African iGaming market

[ad_1]

In keeping with its global expansion strategy, Pragmatic Play has agreed a multi-vertical content deal with African sports entertainment brand ChampionBet.

The new partnership agreement, which, according to the provider significantly expands its presence in Central Africa, will see the operator’s players in the region gain access to its award-winning slots suite, including top performers such as Wolf Gold, Big Bass Bonanza, Sweet Bonanza, the mythology-themed Gates of Olympus, and the recently released Cleocatra, which combines two popular themes.

Also included in the deal is Pragmatic Play’s wildly successful live casino content, with classic card games like blackjack and roulette along with more modern titles such as the player-favorite, game show-inspired Mega Wheel and its blockbuster hit Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, which transforms its 2019 hit slot Sweet Bonanza into a mega wheel-style game with two exciting bonus games.

Best Casino Experience:

“We’re delighted to provide Pragmatic Play games to our customers. We believe that they deserve the best casino experience across all verticals and with the new addition of live casino, the ChampionBet offering will elevate our players’ gaming to deliver a product range they’ll return to time and time again,” read a statement from Pavel Vaniš, Chief Executive Officer for ChampionBet.

Company Info:

Over the past year, the up-and-coming African brand, which is licensed and regulated by the Gaming Commission of Ghana, has reportedly opened hundreds of retail outlets across Ghana in West Africa and Uganda and Ethiopia in East Africa. The sports entertainment brand is also responsible for a new, “fully responsive” website in Ghana complete with an expanded sportsbook and slots offering.

Ideal Vehicle:

Also commenting on the new alliance, Yossi Barzely, Chief Business Development Officer for Pragmatic Play, said in a company news release that  ChampionBet’s expansion across Central Africa positions the company perfectly and its brand is “the ideal vehicle” for its “growth ambitions” in the region.

“We’re providing a strong package of content which has become indispensable to African operators, and this is another positive step forward for our business objectives.”

Newly Released & Coming Soon:

The new partnership is on the heels of Pragmatic Play’s latest release, Cash Patrol, a cops-and-robbers-themed video slot that is set in a windy city where the police chase the bad guys on the way to a max win of 10,500x the bet, with help from features such as money collects, expanding wilds and extra collects.

In addition to more commercial deals, fans can expect the multi-product content provider to launch its next hit, Big Bass Splash, on June 23rd. The latest in its successful series of fishing-themed slots, this high volatility spinner adds a seemingly out-of-place Mega-truck symbol that is worth 200x the bet for five of a kind.
