Relax Gaming expands reach in German iGaming market
Hot on the heels of the launch of its new summer-inspired title, Blender Blitz, and B2B multi-product provider Relax Gaming has added German slot developer Apparat Gaming to its successful Powered By distribution program.
Courtesy of the new partnership, the Berlin-headquartered games studio will “benefit greatly” from Relax’s choice networks in Germany and across major markets throughout Europe.
MGA licensed, Apparat’s first four online slots, 40 Sevens, Total Eclipse, Fruit Storm and Pharaoh Princess, are already preparing to launch with multiple leading operators in the Western European country. Furthermore, the studio has an additional ten titles in the pipeline, with six of those to be released monthly until the end of 2022. Each of the games has been specially developed to reflect its own unique perspective on native German gaming.
Commenting on the new tie-up, Thomas Wendt, Co-Founder & Director for Apparat Gaming, said…
“We’re confident that the games we’ve developed, as well as the ones we have just around the corner, will appeal massively to a wide player base across Europe.
“With that in mind, we couldn’t think of a better partner to help in maximising the distribution of these titles than Relax Gaming. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship as both our companies continue to grow.”
Established in 2020, Apparat Gaming has made quick work of capitalizing on its native market’s regulated iGaming market which came into effect on July 1st, 2021, courtesy of the New State Treaty on Gambling (GluNeuRStV).
The firm‘s founding team has a combined gaming experience of 70-plus years in both land-based and online, with significant game production skills. Its mission is to develop games with a German flavor.
“It’s going to be a monumental year for Apparat Gaming. With ten fantastic games good to go for 2022 and still more in development, the company will be huge in the German market and beyond, read a statement from Simon Hammon, Chief Product Officer for Relax Gaming.
The CPO declared that they are “delighted to be a part of this journey” and they “can’t wait” to see how the new relationship develops. “I’m sure they’re going to be very happy with the incredible reach we’ll be able to offer them.”
Just prior to the latest commercial deal, the aggregator and iGaming content supplier launched its new 243-payways Blender Blitz summer slot. Ideally suited for players who prefer high volatility gameplay, the 5-reel, 3-row spinner has a 96.16 percent RTP and a 25,000x max win potential and is playable on all devices.
Here, winning combinations are formed when players land three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the far left reel. When that happens, all low pays – kiwifruit, oranges, lemons, and strawberries – and mid-tier symbols – grapes, pineapples, and cherries – are removed and only high pays – ice cubes, a pitcher of juice, and a blender – remain. What’s more, players are also awarded a super spin, which is a guaranteed winning spin that features a 500x max multiplier.
Appearing on reel five only in the main game, the Eliminator symbol either discards one of the low or mid-value symbols, or it destroys all symbols in view, contributing to their removal and the free spin trigger.
Free Spins are awarded when 15 low or mid-value symbols are destroyed. Once low and mids are removed during free spins, they stay gone throughout the entire round. Free spins end when a super spin is awarded or when all lives are lost. Losing a life happens when a non-winning spin occurs and an extra life symbol appears on reel five while in free spins, which awards up to three extra lives. The exact number of extra lives is displayed on the symbol.
Refreshing & Dynamic:
Commenting on the new hit, CPO Hammon said that with the summer months finally here it was “deeply satisfying” to develop a game as “refreshing and dynamic” as Blender Blitz.
“As well as its juicy content, we are sure that players will get great excitement out of the game’s Eliminator round, all those high paying symbols and its intuitive gameplay.”
