Spearhead Studios to go live in Italy. Separately, new deal inked with Iforium

In a week of market advances that followed a new game release, Spanish online slot developer Spearhead Studios has marked two important milestones.

Earlier in the week, it was announced the Marbella-based slots lab had received certification to take its catalog of titles including Blue Diamond Book, Sweet Gems, and Wild Gold live in the Italian market.

A press release yesterday noted that their entire portfolio would become available on the Iforium Gameflex platform in even more regulated markets.

Tuesday’s announcement marks the first time the company’s games will be available in the Italian market, one of Europe’s best-performing jurisdictions. It will give players there access to unique content from long-time industry veteran producers while expanding Spearheads global reach.

Managing Director of Spearhead Studios, Mathias Larsson said: “Italy is a very interesting market that is dominated by just a few operators. We are already live with most of them in other markets, so it was about time we entered the Italian one as well.”

From Italy to Isle of Man and Beyond

On February 10, the company also announced it had signed a new deal with Iforium, an Isle of Man casino aggregation platform provider with over 14,500 titles and 165 developers in its network. The distribution contract will see Spearhead Studios’ games reach an ever wider pool of operators and players in regulated markets.

Spearhead’s catalog currently carries more than 90 games, most developed in-house, including the new feature-rich John Daly Spin it & Win it slot released on February 3. Some of the more seasoned games in the studio’s portfolio came over to the company when it was launched by EveryMatrix as its own in-house brand migrating talent and assets from the former GiG Games when that shop shut as the parent company changed course. That’s why we see names like Mathias Larsson’s associated with a Spanish game developer that has a reach into nearly every regulated jurisdiction on earth.

Iforium Tie-up
