PokerStars teams up with Women Who Code

[ad_1]

Women Who Cide is a large global community dedicated to women in technology. The group recently decided to partner with online poker provider PokerStars to help improve female representation in the industry. The partnership will also be used to provide diversity in poker and encourage women to seek careers in the field.

Working Together

Women Who Code is dedicated to providing inspiration to women to work towards technological careers. The group often partners with leaders in various industries to help reshape the talent pipeline and see women take on roles that are often delegated to men.

The organization works to offer programs for inclusion and diversity, helping to create pathways to leadership within companies for women. Working with PokerStars, Women Who Code will feature the online poker brand in blog posts, social media, events, and newsletters.

Associate Director, Group Public Relations, Rebecca McAdam Willetts, commented on the new partnership by stating: “We are proud to officially become the first gambling partner of Women Who Code and recognize the same values and desire to inspire women to excel in their technology careers. Together, we hold a vision of a world where women are proportionally represented as technical leaders, executives, founders, VCs, board members and software engineers.”

Willets stated further that PokerStars is an ally to women in the industry and that females should bet on themselves and join their team. PokerStars is working towards becoming an organization that represents strong diversity and offers an inclusive environment.

PokerStars currently has over 360 positions available and offers full details of each position within its career web pages. Jobs can be searched via location, position, or other criteria. Apply online easily through the career website.

Relax Gaming Partnership

Among additional partnership deals for PokerStars is one with online gaming supplier and aggregator Relax Gaming. The two teamed up in August, with several markets affected by the deal. The gaming provider will offer its extensive slot portfolio to PokerStars users including games like Temple Tumble, Iron Bank, and Money Train 2.

PokerStars will offer its own games to players as well providing titles from Relax Gaming’s portfolio. Over 50 aggregator partners are available to offer gaming options including Fantasma Games, ReelPlay, 4ThePlayer, and many more.

The PokerStars brand will benefit greatly from the presence of Relax Gaming in Estonia and Malta as well as Italy and Spain, as these are highly targeted markets for the operator. The online gaming content of the provider helps PokerStars to offer more games as well as reach a wider audience.
