Online casino games maker Slotmill announced on Wednesday that it has received a Critical Gaming Supply License from the Malta Gaming Authority in a move that will further boost its growth across regulated markets.

Slotmill is a Sweden- and Malta-based iGaming studio that specializes in the development and supply of innovative and high quality online slots that all boast stunning graphics and a streamlined user interface for a premium player experience.

The company was founded in 2019 by a team of industry veterans with many years of experience in the online casino field. Its portfolio includes both 5-reel slots as well as the Slotmill Classics series of traditional 3-reel titles. All of its games are available in 15 different languages.

The studio’s products run on a well-established platform that allows for simple and seamless integration and supports a wide range of functionalities including free spins, cryptocurrencies, and extensive reporting, among others.

Of their latest important milestone, Slotmill founder Johan Ohman said that being issued an MGA license “is a major event that opens up a multitude of new and exciting business opportunities.”

Mr. Ohman went on that the license from Malta’s gambling regulator represents a “seal of credibility” that confirms that his company’s products and services meet “the toughest standards.” He also pointed out that he is confident this new license will generate multiple new long-term partnerships for Slotmill that will propel it further forward.

Latest in a Series of Regulatory Approvals

Slotmill’s MGA B2B license will enable the studio to supply its portfolio of titles to operators that are licensed by the regulator and in markets that accept licenses from that particular regulator.

It should also be noted that this new license is the latest regulatory approval secured by the company as it seeks to grow its regulated presence across key territories. In April, Slotmill announced that its games portfolio was certified for the Swedish online gaming market.

And in March, the studio’s titles were certified by the competent regulators of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, meaning that it can now expand its presence in the Baltic region through partnerships with locally licensed online gambling operators.

The iGaming maker has also released several new titles since the beginning of the year, including Neon Dreams, Lucky Lucifer, and Vegas Gold. In addition, it has inked several important partnerships to expand its foothold across new and existing markets, with Relax Gaming, Ichiban Ventures, and Betsson being a few of the latest iGaming companies to have teamed up with Slotmill to gain access to its offering.
