BetMGM Poker, Borgata Poker Go Live in Pennsylvania

[ad_1]

Pennsylvania’s online poker market just got bigger as locally licensed online gambling operator BetMGM this week launched the BetMGM Poker and Borgata Poker products in the state.

The two poker platforms offer players from the Keystone State access to benefits that are tied to Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa and other MGM Resorts-owned properties around the US.

Pennsylvania thus became the third state where online poker is legal to welcome BetMGM Poker and the second one to introduce Borgata Poker. Both platforms are powered by partypoker US Network.

BetMGM is owned and operated by ROAR Digital, the joint venture between US casino powerhouse MGM Resorts International and European gambling powerhouse Entain (formerly GVC Holdings). And partypoker, including its US network, is Entain’s flagship online poker operation.

The partypoker US Network has now brought the BetMGM Poker and Borgata Poker brands together in one more state. The network offers an ever-rotating and growing number of poker variants as well as signature poker tournaments and cash games of all buy-in levels.

BetMGM Poker Pennsylvania and Borgata Poker Pennsylvania can now be accessed on desktop. BetMGM Poker Pennsylvania iOS and Android apps are available to download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, respectively. Apps for Borgata Poker Pennsylvania are expected to be rolled out soon.

Engaging Online Poker Experience

Commenting on the addition of Pennsylvania to the list of states where BetMGM Poker and Borgata Poker operate in, Ray Stefanelli, Director of Poker at BetMGM, said that their customers from the Keystone State will find that the two brands provide engaging online poker experiences for both new and seasoned players.

He went on to note that their partypoker US Network aims to support the online poker community by offering access to training initiatives designed to “help all participants strengthen their play.”

Pennsylvania players will be able to redeem their gameplay on the two new apps for experiences at MGM Resorts properties around the US thanks to the integration with the casino operator’s M life Rewards loyalty program.

It should also be noted that BetMGM Poker features single-wallet integration with the BetMGM-branded sports betting and casino products in Pennsylvania, while Borgata Poker offers single-wallet integration with Borgata Casino in the state.

As mentioned above the Keystone State became the third one where the BetMGM Poker brand operates in, with New Jersey and Michigan being the other two. In fact, BetMGM Poker Michigan only went live last month. As for Borgata Poker, it is also currently available in neighboring New Jersey.

MGM and its partner Entain eye further expansion of their online poker presence as more and more states consider permitting the practice.
