Online gambling technology provider Playtech this week announced that it has extended its long-term relationship with Flutter Entertainment with a recently signed new five-year contract.
The deal includes Flutter’s Paddy Power, Betfair, and Sky Casino operations. Under its terms, Playtech will supply its online casino games and live dealer products to the above three brands in a bid to further bolster their offering.
Flutter’s Paddy Power and Betfair operations have been part of the group since it was formed in 2016 through the merger of gambling operators Paddy Power and Betfair. As for Sky Casino, it joined the company last year when it closed a multi-billion tie-up with Canada’s The Stars Group.
Playtech said that the newly inked deal with the major gambling group represents a significant extension of its long-term relationship with this key strategic partner. The agreement will see the provider deliver its popular suite of online casino products and related services to many of Flutter’s brands across Europe.
In addition, Playtech will continue to run exclusive dedicated studios for Paddy Power, Betfair, and Sky Casino that will offer different live casino titles to their players. The deal also includes the exclusive launch of the Playtech-powered Sky Vegas Live Casino. The digital live dealer establishment is set to go live soon.
A Significant Deal
Commenting on their latest announcement, Playtech Chief Operating Officer Shimon Akad said that the gambling operator is one of their key strategic partners and that this new agreement to provide their long-time partner with their software and services across four of the industry’s biggest verticals is significant.
Mr. Akad went on to say that the new deal is testament to the “long standing and strong relations” between the provider and the operator and that they look forward to continuing to work with Flutter and its brands in their core markets.
Conor Grant, CEO of the gambling powerhouse’s UK and Irish Division said that they are pleased to have extended their existing agreement with Playtech and that they have built a “very successful partnership” over the years. He also noted that they are excited to continue to provide their players with access to software “from one of the world’s leading suppliers of high-quality gaming product.”
This is the latest major content deal announced by Playtech in recent weeks. A few days ago, the company revealed that its selection of Casino (RNG) would go live with the iGaming brands of gambling operator Kindred.
The two companies celebrated their newly penned agreement with the launch of Playtech’s digital casino content with Kindred’s flagship brand Unibet across its UK and .com websites.
The major provider has also recently said that its Live Casino range would be added to the ever-growing lobby of 888casino, the online gaming brand of 888 Holdings.
