ELK Studios to Supply Online Casino Games to 888’s Italian Site

Swedish online casino games maker ELK Studios has strengthened its existing partnership with 888 in a deal that will see its entire portfolio of products go live with the gambling operator’s Italian site.

888’s online casino brand already offers ELK content in other regulated markets. The recently expanded partnership between the two companies will enable the provider to extend its global footprint, while also bolstering the operator’s Italian platform.

Formed in 2013 in Stockholm, ELK specializes in the development of mobile-first slots and related iGaming content. The studio says that it has continuously focused on quality over quantity and on the combination of “groundbreaking mathematics with astonishing artwork” in order to provide their partners with high-quality products.

The company boasts a hefty library of gaming titles and supplies those to hundreds of online gaming operators and content aggregation platforms around the world.

Its expanded partnership with 888 comes on the heels of the launch of its latest title, Bompers. The game is the third in the studio’s ELK Gravity Series and the first to feature its brand-new X-iter modes.

The iGaming maker has been promoting X-iter as a “new and completely unique way to play slot games.” It allows players to hop into action through a selection of predefined modes. These are tailored to fit all games, which basically means that players can experience the core of every game and choose their favorite scenario.

A Great Start of the Year

Commenting on their upcoming launch in Italy with 888, ELK Chief Sales Officer Martin Lerby said that the expanded partnership with the operator and their debut in “such a strong and fast-growing market” represent a great start of the year/

He went on to say that to be able to increase their reach with a key partner like 888 “makes our presence in Italy even more powerful and exciting.”

Talya Benyamini, VP of B2C at 888, commented that the strengthening of their partnership with the Stockholm-based iGaming studio and the addition of its titles to their Italian operation will further bolster their “diverse range of entertaining content.”

Ms. Benyamini added that their confident in the success of this partnership and that it will help them continue to deliver a “safe and enjoyable” online gambling experience to their betting and casino customers.

This is the latest of a series of content deals announced by 888 in recent months. In February, the operator teamed up with gambling software giant Playtech. Under the terms of that deal, the content maker and supplier will provide 888casino with access to its Live Casino and random number generator (RNG) games.

The partnership will also see Playtech create and host a bespoke 888-branded studio at its Live Casino facility in Riga, Latvia. The studio will feature a wide selection of live dealer titles and exclusive content from the provider, including its Live Slots, Spin a Win, and recently launched Adventures Beyond Wonderland.
